New Mass Regulations
ST. PETER PARISHIONERS NEW REGULATIONS TO BE FOLLOWED:
According to a letter from Archbishop Rodi on May 20 th , if any parish cannot follow these regulations, it will be necessary to refrain from the celebration of public Masses.
A general dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass remains
Observe the 6 ft. social distancing protocol
Communion received only in the hand; please extend your arm so
as not to come close to the priest
Communicants are to keep social distancing when in the
People may wear masks and gloves to Mass, Communion may not be distributed or received with gloves.
Anyone sick or having health issues should not attend Mass.
We are blessed that public Mass has resumed, but at the same time, we need to be vigilant about maintaining safety in the celebration of Mass.
This matter is too serious for us to take any other approach than one of extreme caution for the safety of others.
PLEASE NOTE: Ushers will take each of you to your seat and when Mass is over, please exit row by row and maintain the 6 ft. social distancing. Entrance will be through the Holy Door and the usher will exit you all through the main doors of the Church.
No social gatherings after Masses until further notice.
