Greetings from St. Peter
Greetings from St. Peter,
I hope this letters finds you and your family safe and healthy. For the last three months, we have been unable to worship together through the Eucharistic Celebration of Mass. Although we are not together for Mass, all of you are in my daily prayers.
I am writing in the midst of the great health crisis that we are all facing as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although I am celebrating Mass again, many of you have not felt safe enough to attend and that is perfectly understandable.
The impact of COVID-19 has truly been world-wide. Here at St. Peter, our primary concern during this time is the holiness, health and safety of our parishioners.
Please use this time to draw close to Jesus in prayer, silence, reflection and meditation. If you have children, please pray with them and exercise patience. All this isolation and social distancing will pass … and we can become better, stronger and more faithful if we use this time to grow closer to God. We are never alone –
the Saints and Angels accompany us! God will never abandon us. Do not be afraid. May our patron saint, St. Peter, bless each of you and intercede your intentions.
I would like to thank each of you for all your prayers and financial support of our parish family. Through your generosity we have been able to maintain all our bills and continue to pay our employees.
I assure you of my humble prayers and please pray for me also.
